Ducati and Aruba.it partnership

Both Aruba and Ducati have announced their partnership with Aruba.it becoming the main sponsor of Ducati. The new team will be called Aruba.it Racing–Ducati Superbike and besides being part of the team name Aruba will also be part of the management team of the Ducati team as well. The agreement is for three years at this point and the first major competition the team will attend is the Superbike WC – world championship.

Maybe you are thinking that Ducati is a world class motorcycle constructor and has one of the best teams in pro racing and this Aruba.it is a little nobody. This team may seem a little unbalanced however what you may not know is that Aruba.it is number 1 in the web hosting business in Italy has consolidated itself as a big player on the cloud services market in Europe.

For the enthusiasts who watched the team closely last year there is no need to panic, no change will be made in the line-up by the new management. Davide Giuliano and Chaz Davies will still be official rider and the team will be managed by Serafino Foti.

Both companies share similar goals and values so the partnership is mutually beneficial. The CEO of Ducati announced that they are very pleased with this partnership and that it will be a solid platform to start from in the next three years’ Superbike WC. The CEO of Aruba expressed his company’s enthusiasm about the partnership by saying that both companies are motivated by the same things and has much confidence in the team and the two riders.
